The Wild Call

The Wild Call

About Video

What Is Stalking?
Stalking is a term commonly used to refer to unwanted and obsessive attention by an individual or group to another person.

Stalking can be defined as the willful and repeated following, watching and/or harassing of another person. Most of the time, the purpose of stalking is to attempt to force a relationship with someone who is unwilling or otherwise unavailable. Unlike other crimes, which usually involve one act, stalking is a series of actions that occur over a period of time. Stalking behaviors may include following the victim in person and/or monitoring them via the internet.

Any unwanted contact between two people that directly or indirectly communicates a threat or places the victim in fear can be considered stalking.

The Purpose Of The Advertisement:
We have heard though media that some celebrity and models are being stalked by the unknown persons.
In the year 2011 a Delhi University student was shot dead on a foot-over-bridge outside Ramlal Anand College in south Delhi's Dhaula Kuan.

It was an incident that made people aware that stalking is some thing that does not only happen with celebrities but can also with general public specially with girls. Most of the cases the girls are too scared to file a report. Most of them is not even aware about how to tackle /react to stalker.

Thus the objective is to make people aware of three essential points:
Understand what is stalking
Know Stalking someone is a criminal offence.
There are also laws for this crime in our country

Medium of the advertisement:
Gittu Creation has created 2 minutes (approx) duration video in Stop Motion Animation on Anti Stalking.

There are three characters in the clip a tiger, name Looka who is the stalker, a doe called Madam ji, who is being stalked and a dog name Kakkad Singh who is a Police officer.

The characters are made of silicon and Resin as it is reliable as well as flexible and gives live like appeal

Conclusions
The use of the medium of Stop Motion Animation is creating an interest in viewers.
Special attention has been paid in developing the characters.
The expressions of all the characters in the clip are live like.

We have received good feedback of the clip. A series or a short film can be created. We can also take up issues like self defense, eve teasing etc and experiment future.

Making Of 'The Wild Call'

How we do it

 The Idea:
Whenever a team member has an idea, the person discusses it with the team. In the team discussion the possibilities of the idea are discussed and different approach comes forward.

The screen play and story boarding:
Once the team has agreed to the idea and a concept is developed through the team discussion.

The first copy of the screenplay is written which is a basic outline of the sequence of scenes, characters and their expressions.

Story boarding is done based on the screenplay. In this process the characters are hand sketched along with their different expressions in different scenes.

 Character development:
This is the step in which the character is modeled in clay keeping in mind the persona and the physical characteristics of the character. Accurate measurements are always kept in mind.
Once the character is finalized mould is taken and the casting is done in silicon or other materials.

 The set and setup:

This step involves creating the environment according to the concept for the characters, where they will act and interact with one another as well as the environment.
The environment should compliment the characters and vice versa.

 Expressing and expressions:
The facial and body expressions of the characters is rehearsed in accordance to the story board before the characters are introduced to the set.

 Perfecting before performance:
During this step we try to add more life to the characters introducing them to each other and the set. The performing characters practice to perfect their performance.

Ready to shoot and animate:
As stop motion animation is a process where the object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous.
This step involves lot of technicalities, precautions and patience.

Sone Ka Kangan

We have started working on a project, the name of the project is “Sone Ka Kangan”.

The project is not only entertaining and also imparts moral lessons.

The story of “Sone Ka Kangan”, which means “Gold Bracelet”, is of a tiger who lures a man into trap, taking the advantage of his greed.

The protagonist of the story, the tiger, name Looka is an old, scrawny predator who no longer can hunt. But he is classy and he loves to sing his own praise. He completely disagrees that he is unable to hunt due to his aging.

Madam Ji
In the story there is a doe, who is talkative but clever and is called “Madam ji” by everyone.

Ghautu Bhaiya
Ghautu Bhaiya is the greedy man, whose intellect is over shadowed by his greed.
